Getting started

AReach is used inside closed professional events. Create an event and share its invite code with guests, or join an existing event with the code provided by the event host.

Account and privacy

How do I delete my account?

In AReach, open Profile → Account → Delete Account. Confirm with your current password and then confirm the permanent deletion prompt. Account deletion cannot be undone; email is not required for the normal deletion flow.

How do I hide my profile from nearby attendees?

Open Profile → Privacy and turn Visible to nearby attendees off. You remain a participant in your events and can still see and edit your own profile, but your AReach identity and profile are hidden from other attendees in attendee lists, nearby results, distance displays, and camera cards. Event counts may still include you, and the event host cannot override the setting.

How do I report an attendee?

During a live event, open the attendee’s profile, open the More attendee actions menu (⋯), and choose Report attendee. Select the reason that best describes the issue and choose Submit Report. Available reasons include inappropriate profile content, harassment or abusive behavior, impersonation, spam, and other.

How do I block or unblock an attendee?

During a live event, open the attendee’s profile, open the More attendee actions menu (⋯), and choose Block attendee. Confirm the prompt. AReach then hides the two users from each other’s attendee discovery, profiles, nearby results, distances, and camera cards. To unblock someone, open Profile → Blocked Users and choose Unblock.

How do I create an event?

Open the Create flow, provide the event title, description, date, time, venue, and capacity, then complete the event setup. Share the generated invite code with attendees.

How do I join an event?

From the app’s join flow, enter the invite code shared by the host. You must be authenticated, and the event must still be available for registration.

How does nearby discovery work?

During a live event, AReach can use the camera, ARKit, Bluetooth, Local Network services, and Apple Nearby Interaction to show eligible nearby attendees on a compatible iPhone. Both people need to be participating in the same live event, and the relevant permissions and device capabilities must be available. Nearby discovery is not a GPS or general people-finding service.

Why can’t I see an attendee or camera overlay?

Check that you are in the same live event and have joined or checked in. In iOS Settings, allow AReach the Camera, Bluetooth, Local Network, and Nearby Interaction access requested by the live feature. Also check that the other attendee has not turned off Visible to nearby attendees and that you do not have a blocking relationship. Camera conditions, AR tracking, device compatibility, distance, and the other device’s current availability can also affect overlays.

AReach intentionally does not reveal whether a particular attendee is hidden because of a privacy setting, blocking, event state, or temporary availability. Refresh the event or leave and re-enter the live experience after checking the conditions above.

How do I update my profile?

Open Profile and choose Edit Profile. You can update your name, headline, and “Ask me about…” topics. These conversation cues are shown only in event contexts where your attendee profile is visible.

Contact and safety

For technical support, privacy questions, access or correction requests, or safety concerns that you cannot report in the app, email areach.prescribe586@passmail.com. Include enough detail for us to understand the issue, but never send your password or authentication codes.

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. The in-app report and block tools are not emergency services.
